The Platform Engineering Team at Imprint is at the forefront of democratizing access to cutting-edge technologies, empowering teams across our organization to innovate and excel. Responsibilities
Proactively identify bottlenecks throughout the SDLC and implement strategic solutions to overcome them.
Propose, design, and deliver enhancements that boost developer productivity and efficiency.
Develop and monitor key metrics to track the effectiveness of our toolchain and technological solutions.
Actively explore emerging technologies, guide technical strategy, and assess new tools to support our scaling organization and growing user base.
Utilize various technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, NoSQL and SQL databases, Kafka, gRPC, and Terraform.
What We Look For
8+ years in leading building and maintaining developer toolchains, from backend to frontend, including support code generation, CI / CD pipelines, experimentation platform, testing environment, etc., within an engineering organization of 100+ engineers
Experience in Kubernetes, with a strong background in administrating and building custom resources
Experience with AWS, familiar with utilizing AWS services as building blocks
Experience in Golang and at least one of the scripting languages, e.g. Python, Bash, etc.
A deep understanding of distributed infrastructure and containerization technologies
A deep understanding of the SDLC and a passion for improving developer productivity
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
Nice to Have
Experience in building payments-related products
Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
Track record of managing mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems
Open-source project experience

Annual salary range: $180k-$250k and competitive equity package.
