This position will play a key role in growing HPL Apollo revenue by working as part of an international commercial and operational team to drive & develop business growth through Customer Attention, Retention, and Expansion from both existing and new clients. Maximizing current accounts by retention and expansion and developing the best processes for Sales and Customer Service will put our company ahead of the industry.
Improve business relationships, helping the company to stay connected to customers, airlines, and vendors, streamline processes and improve profitability.
Main Responsibilities:
o Grow sales by maximizing the gross profit of current accounts:
•Develop, maintain, and build positive customer relationships
•Work with gateway and Airfreight Exports on space management with airlines
•Daily communication with customers to assure their service needs are met
•Work as part of the team to secure and negotiate space and rates with carriers
•Identify new sales opportunities and growth areas
•Work with outside sales to secure customer visits
•Prepare quotations and present them electronically to customers
•Follow up on all quotations issued and sales inquiries received
•Working with management and outside sales on the best strategy for the company
•Pricing Review for existing customers making sure profits is maximized.
•Working on RFP
•Maintain and update the company CRM - Sales Force with your commercial activities
o Be the lead person for assigned Key Accounts of HPL-Apollo: •Maintain and grow key accounts assigned
Make sure all customer inquiries are answered properly and in a timely manner
Keep all rates up to date
Coordinate with the other hpl APOLLO teams that deal with this key customer in other
branches and/or countries making sure we act as a team
Work with sales for customer appreciation ideas.
Prepare Presentations of the company to be sent to customers or for internal purposes
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must provide proof of the legal right to work in the United States.
Education/Experience:
•Minimum 2 years of operational and/or sales experience in the logistics/perishables industry with a proven satisfactory track record.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in WMS, Outlook, and Office
