The Online Media Team Lead will report into the Operation Manager Jose and supervise, mentor, and coach a regional support team of multilingual Account Managers to ensure clients are well-supported, issues are properly handled, and team performance is measured against a set of objectives. At times, the Team Lead may be called in to manage relationships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor and consultant. The Online Media Team Lead will leverage their knowledge of online media, superior communication, relationship building skills, and analytical abilities to provide consultative support to their team, and to help our clients execute against their branding objectives using our client's products. The Online Media Team Lead will act as the point of escalation for the internal teams for their region and will partner closely to ensure constant improvement of the overall support program.
* Directly manage the day-to-day operations of the team with the ability to grow and scale as necessary
* Manage escalations and participate directly in all aspects of client support to ensure customer and member satisfaction
* Routinely mentor, coach, and develop the multilingual team Inspire and motivate team, and bring innovation to the client support processes to ensure process improvement
* Ensure major client issues are escalated appropriately to our client's point of contact
* Partner with different departments and areas to troubleshoot issues flagged by supported customers
* Provide a monthly summary outlining team performance against metrics, successes, challenges, and future focus areas
* Advise on media creative and content quality and development to maximize performance and delivery
* Support customer communication and education including a best-in-class onboarding experience and ad hoc education needs
* Ability to troubleshoot client issues that arise from using self-serve products
You will be put through a very dynamic 3-4 weeks onboarding and training plan on modern customer service techniques, management, shadowing sessions with your peers, and state-of-the-art product knowledge and CRM systems. (By the way, be ready to make some good friends during this time!)
* Fluent in English
* 2+ years of client-facing experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media
* Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
* 2+ years of successful team lead or management experience
* Ability to challenge team members and be challenged to achieve team goals
* Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills
* Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
