Responsibilities and Duties
Law and immigration research for the development of legal arguments
Draft, review, prepare, and submit legal documents (motions, depositions, etc.)
File documents with courts
Case file management
Client consultation and interviews
Summarize cases and prepare reports for attorneys
Oversee paralegals and legal assistants in office
Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing cases
Required Qualifications
5+ years experience in employment-based immigration
PERM, E-2/1, L1, EB-2/3, EB-1(c), AOS and familiarity with other family-based types of cases
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little oversight
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience in a supervisory role managing other paralegals and legal assistants
Knowledge of legal software
Excellent English written skills
Job Type: Full-time in office
Schedule 8am - 5pm
Excellent work life balance
Must be able to work in office on location in San Antonio, Texas
Compensation:
$23-$25/hr (depending on experience)
Plus incentives to reach $27+ per year
