Legal Assistant III - Job Duties:
+ Performs duties of Legal Assistant I & II.
+ Serves as administrative assistant by planning, initiating, and carrying to completion clerical, secretarial, and administrative activities.
+ Answers questions which may involve the interpretation of policies and procedures.
+ Assists in training LA I & LAII as needed.
+ Provides administrative support for Assistant State Attorneys.
+ Prepares Court Calendars daily
+ Assigns Investigative files, Investigative Subpoena files, Arrest Warrant files
+ Prepares legal documents including subpoenas, Information’s, TCC’s, Program Referrals, and Drop Notices.
+ E-files/Eservices documents
+ Uploads documents to image tab
+ Inputs case related information into STAC database.
+ Handles incoming mail and calls related to court cases.
+ Performs any and all duties as required.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
