About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Fort Worth Research Consortium. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all research conducted by the consortium, managing its operations, and serving as the key business leader in the pursuit of health equity and community building. This role involves developing a strategic and operational plan for clinical trials research, aligning and monitoring research programming with the strategic research plan, and recruiting key research and clinical scientists. The Executive Director will also be tasked with nurturing areas of research excellence, expanding research collaborations, and leading the development of industry and business relations to support the growth of clinical research in Fort Worth.Applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree, with a preference for Ed.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. qualifications, and at least 10 years of experience in clinical research and business operations. The role requires knowledge of research principles, clinical trials research activities, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and strong communication abilities are essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to grow revenues, meet budgets, and facilitate business strategies for sustainability, as well as the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and establish and communicate objectives effectively.
