Enterprise Account Executive, Hospitality For our team in the US, we are looking for a tenured, connected sales executive with solid experience in both payments and a track record selling to the hospitality industry. Our unique unified commerce platform allows Adyen to provide unrivaled technology to revolutionize the payments experience and pace of innovation for hotels and hotel-adjacent services (F&B, spa, golf, etc). The ideal candidate has an outstanding network within the US hospitality community, understands the limitations of the current payment solutions available to hotels and likes challenging the status quo with innovation. What You'll Do Approach enterprise hotel brands, ownership groups, and management organizations with their base in the US. Understand their needs and present the Adyen solution focused on differentiating Adyen from legacy hospitality payment providers by selling Adyen’s value to improve guest payment experiences and reduce the operational burden of managing payments across all channels.

Bring or build relationships with hospitality merchant prospects; lead meetings, close deals, carry out contractual and go-live implementation work. Extend the advocacy of Adyen by building a community within the hotel industry to gain trust, promote awareness, and receive feedback on product improvements.

Collaborate and work with individuals and teams across the organization both in the US and internationally, including other global sales executives, the hospitality strategy team, POS product, marketing, risk/underwriting, implementation, and account management teams.

Work in an entrepreneurial environment with autonomy to build your professional brand as you build Adyen’s brand awareness and value in the hospitality community.

Who You Are You are a passionate sales person with strong commercial drive and attitude, a strategic negotiator and have a pressing appetite for deals

You have several years of experience (5-8 years) selling payments or other complex software solutions to the hospitality industry, where you really know your way and the value chain.

Ideally you have also worked in a hotel in a customer facing role and have some experience working with leading or innovative PMS or technology providers for hotels.

A team player who enjoys working with a global team, across different offices, roles and cultures, and has a willingness to travel

You are inspired by the potential for innovation in the payments space and have identified gaps in the hospitality world

You have the ability to define and execute, manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision

You are business and technology savvy, ideally with an undergraduate or master’s degree in business or finance.
