Technology Analyst

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Technology Analyst with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The Technology Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of leading-edge technologies. The contract is pending; anticipated award is July 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct all-source analytic production of future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide.

Project the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on U.S. forces worldwide.

Provide risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies and assesses national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense technology and defense sectors.

Produce intelligence for the U.S. National, Defense and Acquisition Communities.

Conducts all-source analysis to identify, exploit, and assess potential threats, transfer, and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the Technology Analyst role.

Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.

Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider years of experience.

CLEARANCE Active/current DoD Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.

PREFERRED Bachelor's Degree.

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
