VP of Renewals - Martech

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Renewals to lead our martech division's renewals strategy in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer success, account management, and contract renewals within the martech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Renewal Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive renewal strategy to maximize customer retention and drive revenue growth within the existing client base.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our martech solutions.
Renewal Forecasting: Manage the renewal pipeline and forecast accurately to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract renewal negotiations, working closely with clients to address concerns, overcome objections, and secure favorable terms.
Customer Advocacy: Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, representing client interests and driving internal alignment to deliver value and ensure success.
Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional martech products and services to existing clients, driving incremental revenue.
Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to assess renewal trends, identify at-risk accounts, and implement proactive retention strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing renewals team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team success.
Process Optimization: Continuously optimize renewal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability, leveraging automation and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer success, account management, or renewal leadership roles within the martech industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding renewal targets in a high-growth environment.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
