As a Field Service Mechanic you'll repair and maintain commercial air compressors, pumps, and vacuum systems at various customer sites.
Essential Job Duties of Field Service Technician:
Use sketches, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Diagnose issues using tools and troubleshooting methodology.
Inspect, listen, and dismantle machines to find malfunctions.
Measure and inspect parts for wear or misalignment.
Apply knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanics, and pneumatics.
Test and replace faulty electrical components.
Troubleshoot PLCs with diagnostic tools.
Additional Job Duties:
Maintain company vehicle.
Organize and manage trucks stock parts and tools.
Complete paperwork and timecards promptly.
Qualifications:
Apply mechanical and electrical principles.
Must have EPA Universal and refrigeration training.
Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.
Some overtime and occasional overnight travel.
Preferred Skills:
Recognize common mechanical and electrical components.
Effective system troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer relations skills.
Physical Demands:
Lift 10-100 lbs.
Perform various physical activities while working on industrial equipment.
Pay Rate:
$28 - $45 per hour
