Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and assembly of dishes
- Ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for food supplies, and manage kitchen resources efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area, following food safety guidelines and regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with management to develop menu items, specials, and promotional offerings
- Address any kitchen-related issues or customer concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role or similar position
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Culinary certifications or training is a plus
