Navitas Business Consulting is seeking an Endpoint Pilot Support professional to provide support to our Federal client in Raleigh NC. This role would Provide support for the National Pilot Testing process, including tracking status of all pilots within the USPS District, perform verification and validation of pilot tests, coordinate pilot testing with various users, systems and locations, and provides feedback on pilot test findings.
Description: Test Pilot Software for proper deployment and functionality
Locate users who can be assigned software to perform pilot testing
Follow up and assist users during pilot testing
Provide feedback to package owners and complete pilot testing documentation
Secondary tasks related to pilot work: Reboot lab workstations weekly to make sure they receive patches
Check machines for any pilot patches (Our phase groups are based on IP ranges or locations and we have a very large pilot sampling)
Monitor tickets in the support queue to address pilot related tickets
Move workstations in and out of pilot phase as workstations are replaced
Non-pilot Advanced Computing Environment (ACE) support
Wiping computers prior to disposal
Reimaging computers
Work with HP, Dell or other hardware ACE vendors, to have workstations repaired
Work support tickets using ServiceNow
Print security badges
Assist with other projects as required (ex: Printer setup and configuration, workstation refresh, troubleshooting upgrade failures)
Provide support for the National Pilot Testing process, including tracking status of all pilots within the USPS District, perform verification and validation of pilot tests, coordinate pilot testing with various users, systems and locations, and provides feedback on pilot test findings.
Document the established procedures used to perform repetitive, but complex tasks.
Establish and maintain comprehensive records of work performed.
Install PC-based hardware, software, and peripherals, as well as integrate products into desk- top systems.
Produce reports for a wide variety of purposes.
Operate personal computer terminals and LAN attached to workstations to perform job functions and general clerical/administrative work.
Provide technical assistance to the computer operations staff and user community, as needed.
Educational Requirements :
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred.
NOTE: If resource does not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
