As the Law Firm Accounting Coordinator, you will join an outstanding team of talented and committed individuals in the accounting department. This is a great position for a person who is numbers-savvy but also wants to interact with clients and attorneys. A large component of your job will involve accounts payable input, monitoring client billing and deposits, and any ad hoc payment and invoicing needs related to client processing, questions and assistance. A detail oriented, deadline driven individual who is interested in working in a law firm will do exceptionally well in this role.
About the Job:
Under the supervision of the department head, you will work closely with attorneys to discuss the scheduling of payments, invoice preparation, and specific client billing procedures.
Ensure proper follow-up with clients to guarantee a timely and smooth billing process.
Accurately input invoices through internal and external billing systems.
Prepare monthly reports detailing accurate accounts and financial records for clients.
Review and electronically file forms with different software applications.
Keep up-to-date client portfolios while monitoring billing schedules.

About You:
Numbers savvy. You bring at least three years of accounting experience, law firm billing experience is preferred.
Excel wizard. You are skilled working across spreadsheets and have experience with data, formulas and tracking.
Scrupulous. You have a natural ability for noting inconsistencies or pinpointing errors in documents, especially with numbers.
Quality service. You are naturally customer-service minded and enjoy helping others with questions.
Articulate. It’s essential that you possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible. You are committed to the success of the firm and will work extra hours to complete your deadlines on time.
