Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior RF Power Generator Design Engineer to lead our team in component and system-level design and development of RF power generators. This key role involves spearheading the development of new technologies, optimizing RF systems, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of high-power RF power amplifier circuits (eg., Class A, B, AB, D, E).

- Develop advanced power divider/combiner, VI/directional coupler sensor, and impedance matching solutions.

- Employ unique design skills, transitioning from simulation to detailed prototyping of RF components and circuits.

- Focus on matching box system design for plasma applications and tackle EMI and EMC design challenges.

- Utilize expertise in simulation packages (ADS, HFSS, Mathcad, Simplis, PSIM) to enhance design efficiency and performance.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and optimize designs for thermal performance and manufacturability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF power generators into comprehensive system architectures.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation, troubleshoot design issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements.

- Innovate the design of RF power generators based on GaN and other WBG devices.

Requirements:

- Degree (BSc, MS, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field, with a focus on RF power engineering.

- 5+ years of experience in RF power generator design and development.

- Demonstrated proficiency in RF circuit analysis and design using software like ADS, HFSS, Mathcad, Simplis, and PSIM.

- Experience with modular power supply design, high-power module testing, and advanced plasma technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a diverse environment.
