You must have a minimum of 5 years of field experience and a Technician Certification. Compensation is $16-$27 per hour plus commissions. Compensation will be based on experience. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume and references.
Job Summary:
To perform day to day diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial package units, zoned sensors, & residential HVAC.
Duties:
Intelligently and efficiently perform diagnostics and repairs on commercial package units, split systems, mini splits, zoned systems, and zone sensors.
Use the provided communication software as instructed via tablets and smart phones
Follow all safety and performance guidelines
Report directly to immediate supervisor
Take part in all training provided by the company, including reading materials that may be required by the company
Will be ON CALL on a rotating weekend schedule, keeping open availability
Preform good quality work and operate within the framework of the company’s expectations
Conflict resolution with customers
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times when interacting with coworkers, customers, and vendors
Communicate diligently with staff and customers to make sure each and every job is seen through to absolute completion
Work in a humble manner and portray the type of attitude that we want to receive from any and all employees of the company
Continuously and consistently be willing to challenge yourself to improve
Have an open mind and aid in the growth and expansion of the company
Ability to work in a remote environment with very little supervision
Requirements:
Background Check
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record
EPA Certification
Type 2 Technician Certification
NATE Certification is a plus
5+ years of experience working on a wide range of equipment (split systems, package units, mini splits) using a variety of troubleshooting techniques
5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, equipment repair, and installation (split systems, mini splits)
Experience making repair and replacement decisions
Background experience in gas, electric, and HVAC
Experience leading and/or managing service technicians is a plus
Systems evaluation, equipment maintenance, equipment selection, installation, operation monitoring, quality control analysis, repairing, troubleshooting, time management, service orientation
Ability to troubleshoot commercial package units
Ability to read wiring diagrams and part schematics
Strong customer service and communication skills
Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to make educated decisions
Strong leadership skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
