Job Details
Oversight and management of the ERCOT settlement processes for:
Wholesale market transactions
Retail market transactions
Emergency Response Service
Other ERCOT settlements
Oversight and management of the Financial Operations and its affiliates, including:
Bank account coordination and management
Cash and Treasury management activities
Bill/Pay/Collect activities
State and local taxes
Credit and collateral requirements for vendors and customers
Coordination of accounting activities, including:
Oversight of out-sourced account function
Coordination with Auditor
Coordination with tax advisors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Knowledge of and experience with ERCOT protocols and settlement processes
Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.
