We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Financial Analyst to support the daily operations of our finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with additional responsibilities to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position will prepare, analyze, and evaluate data to enable data-driven decision-making and financial analysis. The successful candidate will join a team of like-minded experts who are continually focused on honing their skills and advancing in their profession.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Develop, update, and communicate monthly 12-month rolling P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts.
Develop, update, and communicate monthly 12-month rolling cash flow forecasts, including weekly detail for the next 13 weeks.
Ensure timely delivery of monthly performance reports and create presentations for monthly business reviews with senior management and the board of directors.
Transform and standardize raw data from NetSuite, Salesforce, and Mavenlink/Kantata into a one-stop source of information.
Develop, track, update, and communicate Allegiance’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Develop and ensure the accuracy of monthly lender covenant reports.
Analyze profitability by client & project, detailing identifiable direct costs as well as allocating overhead expense to help drive timely pricing analysis and decisions.
Assist CFO/CEO in various ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as needed.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of five years of Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
Experience in Cost Accounting and developing models to track direct and indirect costs to determine profitability per client and per project.
Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
Advanced user of Excel.
Experience with PowerBI or Microsoft Fabric.
Experience working with NetSuite or a similar cloud-based accounting system.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding environment with periodic deadlines (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Initiative and ability to work independently and make decisions within guidelines.
Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality.
Location: Remote work available. We also have offices in Fargo, ND, Dallas, TX, and Arlington, VA.
Travel : Up to 15% travel required. Some travel during onboarding, learning opportunities, and team meetings are required for success of this position.
