Product Design Lead

The Product Design Lead will be the driving force behind our product's user interaction, pursuing improvements to the customer experience with well-founded insights in collaboration with Product and Engineering. In addition to shaping and championing the visual identity of our products, the Product Design Lead will ensure a seamless reflection of the company brand across both product and marketing initiatives. How you'll Contribute:

Lead a small team of designers that dives deep into our many products and become the product-wide design leader across several key products

Contribute to the business as a solid individual contributor and thrive in a role where you deliver results directly and through your team

Work closely with your fellow designers to design coherent, seamless, and emotionally resonant user experiences for our users

Partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to take your vision and turn it into reality - technically understanding the product, how it works, and what the constraints are to design within

Fiercely prioritize resources to deliver results, work and lead in a scrappy setting, and drive value to the product by overseeing the vision of the user and customer experience within the product

Partner closely with product management, research, and product marketing to understand the different profiles of customers we sell into, how they use our tools today to design a seamless user experience by understanding customer needs and behaviors

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent work experience

10+ years experience in user experience or product design roles

3+ years leading a team

Mac proficiency, Figma, Google Suite

Excellent communicator with ability to simplify complex technology concepts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Experience operating in a high-growth startup environment or similar fast-moving product org with strong prioritization and efficient use of resources

Capable program management skills driving cross functional teams toward shared deadlines and goals

Experience working in a multicultural, decentralized environment

Ability to work independently, effectively influence and communicate across all levels of management

BONUS: Prior experience work within the digital accessibility space
