About the position
We are seeking an Histology Technician to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will engage in cutting-edge practices involving our proprietary AI algorithm alongside case accessioning, digital scanning, quality checks, and managing lab operations.s.
Responsibilities :
Case Accessioning: Manage the intake, logging, and preparation of histological specimens for analysis.
Scanning and Analysis: Perform scanning of histology slides and assist in running our proprietary AI algorithms.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure precise and reliable data outputs from every analysis.
Laboratory Management: Oversee laboratory organization, ensuring compliance with CLIA and CAP standards, and maintaining records and processes in the Laboratory Information System.
AI Algorithm Facilitation: Operate and manage the implementation of our proprietary AI algorithm, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
Communication: Engage effectively with clinicians to communicate results and troubleshoot any issues, ensuring seamless operational flow and client satisfaction.
Work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
Education :
BS in Biological Sciences.
Certification :
Histotechnician certification is required.
Arizona state license
Experience :
Previous experience in histology and/or a laboratory setting is preferred.
Supervisory experience- advantage
Skills :
Maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Knowledge of histology and laboratory procedures and terminology.
Familiarity with digital pathology and scanning technology.
Strong organizational and communicative abilities.
