Job Description
Mission/ Position Description Summary:
The mission of the Project Engineer/Senior Engineer for HVJ, a leading specialty Engineering firm in Texas, is to assure client satisfaction through assisting our client representative at the SE Connector Design/Build Project Site in Fort Worth, Texas. The position involves, preparation of quality reports, memos, and providing review comments that address the specific project requirements within the project schedule, and budget and design/construction constraints. Main areas of responsibilities include:
Review and provide comments for construction submittals (i.e. RFIs, shop drawings).
Read and understand the Design-Build contract and be able to identify noncompliance.
Attend construction coordination meetings and speak with contractor personnel about contract noncompliance.
Occasionally review design submittals.
Manage projects meeting at the job site.
Manage communications proactively with all stakeholders
Provide positive client experience.
Guide and mentor junior inspection staff.
Approve or reject submittals.
Review and approve inspection reports
Assist with Business Development.
Other duties as needed for the project
Additional Key Expectations
Track project expenses to ensure actual work is performed within budget.
Invoice projects so that payment for services is received no later than 45 days after performing the service.
Review all reports prior to submittal to the client for completeness and accuracy.
Perform engineering duties as required to meet client needs.

MSCE OR BSCE
5 TO 15+ Years of Design/Construction related experience.
Must have Professional Engineer License in the State of Texas.
Valid Texas Drivers License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug related traffic offenses
Valid work authorization documents.
