Position: Test and Balance Assistant Technician -
Summary: As a Test and Balance Assistant Technician, you will collaborate with a team to complete test and balancing projects successfully. Under the guidance of a certified TAB technician, project manager, or lead technician, you will contribute to the essential duties and responsibilities of the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all internal and external safety policies
Maintain a professional appearance
Assist in performing test, adjustment, and balancing work on projects
Support lead technician in documenting test and balance reports
Assist in preparing preliminary and final field balancing logs
Contribute to written reports on system installation function and design deficiencies
Complete additional tasks as assigned
Manage time sheets and expense reports
Expand knowledge through self-study and company training programs

Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or higher
Qualification Requirements:
Self-motivated and driven
Possess reliable transportation
Arrive punctually and ready to work
Comfortable working independently or in a team environment
Must have a valid license and maintain a clean driving record
Strong mathematical aptitude for standard algebraic equations
Proficient in computer skills, including hardware and software
Comply with OSHA job site safety requirements
Successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
The physical demands and working conditions described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The role may involve:
Frequent lifting or carrying of 20 to 50 pounds
Extended periods of driving or riding in a vehicle, depending on the position
Exposure to varying temperatures, including very hot or cold conditions, and all weather conditions
Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels
Frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Sitting, talking, hearing, and standing throughout the day
Climbing, reaching above shoulder height, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling frequently
Occasional lifting of heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Working ten-hour shifts, and possibly twelve-hour days based on job/business needs
