About the team
Cognite's IT superheroes work tirelessly behind the scenes, keeping the company's internal systems and innovative SaaS tools running like clockwork.
We are seeking an IT Operations Engineer located at our office in Oslo, Norway or Austin, Texas that will have the main responsibility of supporting and innovating our global internal IT infrastructure for 650 users. You will become part of a lean and flexible team with various and challenging tasks.
Responsibilities Manage, maintain and improve our IT internal infrastructure, IDPs, MDM, networks, and software applications
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure, G Suite, Confluence, Atlassian Suite, Jira, Slack, MAC & PC, SAAS applications access control, and Network
Collaborate with our engineers to develop and implement IT solutions that support our business objectives
Monitor and maintain system security, including user access control and automation workflows
Follow and maintain IT policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement
We are on the lookout for an experienced IT Operations Engineer with support qualifications in Network, Azure, G Suite, Confluence, Slack, MAC & PC, and SAAS applications access control. As an IT Operations Engineer, you will work with our team of engineers to manage, maintain and develop our global IT infrastructure. You will support Azure, G Suite, Confluence, Slack, MAC & PC, SAAS applications access control, A/V, and network. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience in IT Operations
3-5 years of experience in IT operations and support, focusing on scripting and automation
Experience with Azure, G Suite, Confluence, MDM, Slack, MAC & PC, SAAS applications access control, and network
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prefers to working from the office
