Title: Director, FP&A
Company Background
Florence Health is a technology-driven health care company. The company takes total cost of care risk for patients in partnership with the government and other payers, and leverages its proprietary technology to improve primary care outcomes through a network of independent affiliated practices as well as select staff-model Florence-branded clinics operated with strategic partners. The Company's core technology platform, Nightingale, is the result of years of R&D in the areas of health care data and patient records.
Role Responsibilities
[1] Ownership of and accountability for all financial forecasts, inclusive of P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet
[2] Leadership of and accountability for ongoing budgeting processes
The position will report to the CEO, and will collaborate closely with both the CEO and Head of Corporate Development as a driver of company financial steering and capital planning.
Role Qualifications and Skills Required:
[1] Minimum 5-10 years' experience in accounting and FP&A, including at least one role with substantial self-starter requirements and exposure to high intensity/business critical finance department functions
[2] Ambition to help create a great company by driving and developing a top-performing finance team, without being deterred or put off by the amount of work or challenges along the way
Additional Qualifications:
- CPA and experience in controller/accounting functions (in addition to forward-looking FP&A work)
- Experience going through one or more accounting and finance audits - Experience working with Sage Intacct preferred but not required
- Experience working with DataRails FP&A platform also preferable, but not required

This post was published on October 23rd, 2023, and the company is aiming to finalize offers by mid-December if not sooner. Only full-time onsite candidates are being considered for this role (no remote hires), although additional relocation compensation is included for out-of-market candidates.
