Head of Marketing

Seattle, WA, United States

Across every industry, businesses operate on customer and third party data. The volumes and types of data that need to be shared have grown exponentially. However, customer and partner data cleanup continues to be expensive, involving a ton of developer time, custom code, and coordination across teams.

With AI-powered data transformations, Osmos makes data ingestion easy, fast, and error-free. We help operations teams rapidly activate customers and partners by automating the cleanup of messy data while improving incoming data quality.

Osmos is committed to creating a world where anyone can work with data regardless of technical proficiency. If this mission excites you, come join us!

The role: As our Head of Marketing, you will help build our marketing function and tell our story. This is a leadership role that requires a broad range of skill sets to be successful. You will set the marketing strategy, and play a vital role in growing awareness, and driving customer acquisition. You will work closely with the leadership team on growth strategies, and scale the team as we grow as a company. You will lead growth marketing and some of the product marketing functions, including campaigns, messaging, positioning, and content. We are looking for someone who is skilled and experienced in Enterprise B2B marketing.

Your responsibilities: Work closely with Osmos leadership and play a pivotal role in the growth of our business

Marketing strategy: Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing

Execute on marketing plans: Work closely with and support the broader Osmos team and hit our goals.

Product Marketing: Gain a deep understanding of our audience, develop our positioning and messaging, and communicate the product benefits and value to our audience.

Growth Marketing: Launch, track, and optimize programs/campaigns across multiple channels to move prospects and customers down the funnel.

Content Marketing: Work with agencies to build out our content calendar and tell the story of the Osmos brand in order to engage prospects, customers, candidates, and partners.

Help build the Brand: Collaborate on the company story and vision with the founding team and make sure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high quality bar.

Marketing team management & hiring: Build your marketing team! Hire marketers that are passionate about driving growth and telling our story.

KPIs: Manage the marketing budget, ensure we are operating efficiently, and meeting metrics goals.

Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, including at SaaS companies selling to Enterprises.

Scrappiness and experimentation mindset. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, since we are still an early stage company.

Experience in building a team - hiring marketers and managing them effectively.

Experience in managing agencies and external marketing partners.

Breadth in all areas of marketing, depth in product marketing and growth marketing.

Experience with building an enterprise pipeline for a sales-led acquisition (events, Microsoft channel, SEO, ads, etc.).

High quality bar. You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand how to hit revenue goals at the same time.

You know how to balance short-term goals and long-term goals.

Motivated by our story.

Seattle based candidates and candidates willing to move to Seattle strongly preferred

Candidates with experience in navigating startup challenges and proven track record of helping scale Series A/ Series B startups strongly preferred

Background in enterprise data, and marketing products to CTO/Product leadership is an added plus.

Our core values: We act with integrity: We do the right thing every time, even if it means we fail.

We are customer obsessed: When we obsess over customers, we learn, collaborate, refine, and grow as a product and an organization, while keeping the customers happy. We never leave customers hanging.

We take ownership and are accountable: We are a high caliber, results oriented team. We take ownership, commit, and execute with a long-term horizon in mind. We don’t leave things half-done. We take accountability and deliver to our commitments.

We are aware of our societal impact: Our business doesn't exist in a vacuum. Our choices impact the society we live in. Shareholder value means little if our shareholders don't have a survivable planet and a stable, equitable society.

We thrive in our diversity: We respect everyone's opinions and believe in everyone having a voice in the decisions we make - from office furniture to product strategy. If you have ideas, we want to hear it.

We dream big, act fast. We can-do: Failure is ok. Aiming low is not. The path to success is usually one among hundreds of paths to failure. We focus on what we can do to stay on the golden path and don't let the cliffs on both sides scare us into inaction. Fail fast and try again.

We work as a team. No superheroes: To achieve more, we work together and win together, as a team.

We provide the best-in-class benefits to ensure that you are happy, committed, and maintain a work-life balance.
