Expected Experience and Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management or another relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience within cybersecurity or related functions.

Proven track record and passion for developing technical and soft skills pertinent to cybersecurity.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills.

Ability to translate technical concepts and issues into non-technical/business terms.

Strong individual project management skills: abilities to set and adhere to deadlines, actively communicate barriers and challenges, and coordinate assistance from others when needed.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in all work products and engagements.

Options for hybrid work environment (3 days office / 2 days remote) as aligned with supervisor and capabilities to be effective.

0-20% Travel - We occasionally travel to out-of-state clients when onsite workshops are needed. We believe that our balance of on-site/remote is most efficient for the clients we serve and our ability to get work done with high quality and speed.

Desired Experience and Skillsets

Professional certifications such as the following are preferred but not required:

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager)

CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

PMP (Project Management Professional) / CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
