Your role:
Manages onsite IS staff and works closely with facility leadership to provide solutions for improving efficiency and reducing costs in a dynamic environment. Ensures optimal performance for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with focus on Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems (WMS/TMS) including Material Handling and Warehouse Controls Systems (MHS/WCS); implements, evaluates, and designs ERP systems and applications; troubleshoots ERP-related issues and monitors ERP systems security; installs new releases, system upgrades and patches, as required. Daily tasks to include but not limited to:
* Subject matter expert on projects including documentation, design, training, and testing.
* Perform functional testing on vendor developed code against functional specification and business requirements documents
* Provide 3rd level support of applications supported by the team
* Provide reporting on activities of importance to leadership
* Maintain information systems by planning, monitoring, and coordinating associates
* Offer coaching, leadership, and training to manage staff performance
* Act as Project Manager for small to medium application development projects, enhancements, and implementations
* Coordinate with other IS teams on projects
What you bring to the role:
* Seasoned professional individual comfortable managing and leading a team.
* 4 year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related Science and Math disciplines with an IT emphasis is required.
* Minimum 10 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years specific to management experience supervising individual contributors.
* Hands on knowledge of UNIX, Oracle, SQL is required
* Experience with various release management tools and processes
* Experience with SOX and other compliance/audit requirements related to IT/app dev
* Advanced experience in managing projects/processes.
* Experience in troubleshooting software applications incidents/defects is required
* Strong Communication and collaboration skills
* Experience in providing solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters.
* Incumbents provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in his/her area of specialization.
* Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
* Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.
