Our Paving Group is looking to add an experienced Project Superintendent to their team.
Primary Responsibilities
Create a positive work environment, including implementing and enforcing Company policies and procedures.
Work directly with customers and Company team members, representing the Company and directing and supervising work on Company projects.
Work with Project Manager and Superintendent to access project needs.
Understand project budget and work within the limits of the budget.
Work with client as a representative of the Company to ensure customer satisfaction, exercising independent discretion and judgment to resolve customer concerns and meet customer expectations.
Exercising independent discretion and judgement in identifying and addressing potential problems or hazards
Maintaining QUALITY work in a timely manner, implementing and enforcing Company quality standards
Adhere to OSHA and Company safety requirements.
Create and maintain a safe work environment and hold team accountable to maintain high safety standards.
Complete daily safety assessments and inspections
Document daily construction activities
General duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, or prep crews.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ superintendent experience overseeing multiple projects.
Organized, multi-tasker who can prioritize and manage time effectively.
Self-starter and initiative taker who is highly motivated and results and goal-oriented.
Exhibits calm under pressure.
Strong sense of urgency; being customer-centric is critical.
Exercises good judgment, and resourcefulness in resolving questions or issues.
Bring successful relationships with customers, team members, and subcontractors.
Willing to travel out of town for projects.
Advanced knowledge of the construction industry
Asphalt paving and concrete experience is preferred.
Salary Range: $25-$35 an hour. Eligible for overtime.
