**Job Title:** Customer Service Associate

**Reports to:** General Manager, Assistant Managers

**Position Summary:**

As a Customer Service Associate for Urbn Leaf, you will be the first point of contact for the company. Our Customer Service Associates are responsible for greeting and checking in guests, taking orders over the phone and online, and fulfilling orders for customer pick-up. Additional duties include providing customer service via telephone, email, and web communication. In order to be successful in this role, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and other employees and practice proper phone etiquette. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a genuine passion for interfacing with people on a day to day basis that will have a "host" mentality for all guests entering the dispensary.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Greet and thank guests as they enter and leave the dispensary, ensuring an excellent customer experience

* Customer and patient intake

* Answering phone during operating hours

* Taking orders over the phone and preparing orders for customer express pick-up and delivery

* Responding to reviews and updating online sites i.e. Weedmaps, Google and Yelp.

* Communicating any issues, comments, and/or concerns from customers to shift leads and management

**Qualifications:**

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Must have at least 1 year of call center or related experience

* Must be able to accurately input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers, etc

* Must be comfortable with data entry

* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of phone etiquette

* Must be a hands-on, proactive self-starter

* Must be comfortable learning new skills

* Must be vigilant in monitoring the entire delivery process

* Must provide excellent customer service

* Must be able to meet and uphold all of Urbn Leafs standards

* Preferred (not required) work experience as host, receptionist, dispatcher or other related customer service positions

* Preferred (not required) one or more years of budtending experience

* Preferred (not required) cannabis industry background or extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry

**Skills and Attitudes:**

* Must be motivated, hardworking, and passionate about cannabis. This position requires someone who is a strong multi-tasker with the ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities.

* Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly

* Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day

* Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and discover and meet customer needs

* Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers. Must be personable, attentive, and detail oriented

* Must be able to:

+ Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy

+ Prioritize and organize

+ Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment

+ Follow directions thoroughly

+ Understand guest needs

+ Work cohesively and professionally with co-workers

**Education:**

Must have one of the following:

* High School diploma or GED

**Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:**

* Valid CA identification/proof of residence

**Physical Demands/Requirements**

The following are constant demands for this position:

* Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time

* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly, as required

* Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment

* Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends

* Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds

**Environmental Conditions**

* Occasionally small and/or enclosed spaces.
