Applications Engineers serve as trusted consultants who stay abreast of industry and technology trends. Successful Applications Engineers effectively balance time between customer and internal activities that leverage their knowledge of NI products and customer applications.
The Software Defined Radio (SDR) Applications Engineering role focuses on NI open-source USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) products and Aerospace/Defense industry applications.
Key Responsibilities
Aerospace/Defense technical sales and customer project development support.
Advanced technical support management and resolution
Create Demo Systems and Application notes in collaboration with Offering Manager
Capture Voice of the Customer feedback for product development team
Flex available time into Product development or Solution Delivery development
Success criteria Project/program design wins in named accounts
Customer satisfaction through system development and deployment
Prioritized customer feedback delivered to product development team
Basic Qualifications STEM-related bachelor's degree
5 years of post-academic RF RDPD experience
Work location in Austin, Texas
Availability to travel up to 25%
US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications Post-academic Radar or Electronic Warfare RDPD experience
Post-academic Ettus X3x0/x4x0 and UHD experience
