Job Responsibilities:
Develop schematics and BOMs to meet design requirements.
Analyze designs using simulation tools and calculations for compliance verification.
Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and engineering services to ensure timely, high-quality product development.
Optimize overall system design in collaboration with various engineering disciplines from concept to factory completion.
Design, build, and test rapid prototypes for new product ideas or technology concepts.
Conduct design/debug investigations and support development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities.
Develop project documentation, including specifications, schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, schedules, and presentations.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of overall experience in the field.
A degree in electrical engineering is required for eligibility.
Candidates without relevant work experience and PC experience will not be considered.
Must-Have Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high-volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on design experience in analog/digital electronics, including RF, analog, digital, audio, video, power, electromechanical, low power, charging, touch display, and sensors.
Minimum 5 years of experience with x86 PC and/or ARM architectures and implementation of high-speed serial busses (PCIe, DP, USB4, Thunderbolt, MIPI) and high-speed parallel busses such as memory bus (DDR4/5, etc.).
