Responsibilities
Sabre Systems, Inc is currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane located in Crane, Indiana . The selected candidate will support the GXVR, Microelectronics Division with tasking from various customers including various air, land, and sea platforms at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane located in Crane, Indiana
Provide support for a system or enclave's information assurance program through security assessment and authorization activities in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Provide SME support to projects/conference calls, reviews, and various technical meetings in the area of Program Protection Plan (PPP) development, implementation, and administration.
Developing Program Protection Plan for the Department of Defense
Advise customer Program Executive Office with most efficient and accurate means of establishing a functional Program Protection environment for the projects within the office.
Track the development of administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives with regard to the development of Program Protection Plans.
Conduct independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.
Validate assessment and authorization documents and technical assessment results to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits for each software application, system, and network.
Ensure that plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
Qualifications
High School diploma with Two (2) years of ISSO, ISSE, Cyber Analysis, Security Engineering experience
Interpreting technical assessment results (STIGs/scans) and/or validating results to provide risk recommendations
Ability to resolve challenging situations among various stakeholders across the DoD, IC, academia, and industry Creating security-relevant artifacts to satisfy controls
Coordinating with engineering, logistics, and program management SMEs
Participation in engineering discussions
Security+, CISSP/CISM, or Program Protection Certification desired
Program office experience highly desired
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, Outlook) required
Selected candidate will need to pass a background investigation
Must be a U.S Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
