Job Description: As a School/Clinical Psychologist with Bridgeline Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a school district in Waltham, MA, providing comprehensive psychological services to students. You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling to promote students' social-emotional well-being and academic success. This position offers both full-time and part-time options to accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and learning disabilities
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
Provide counseling and therapy to students, addressing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
Support students in developing coping skills, self-regulation techniques, and problem-solving abilities
Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, administrators, and other related service providers
Attend IEP meetings, contribute to the development of behavioral intervention plans, and provide recommendations for appropriate educational placements
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and reports
Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
Valid state licensure as a Psychologist in Massachusetts
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including experience with cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
