We are actively seeking an experienced Residential ConstructionSalesEstimator to join our team.
We are a professional, agile, innovative and empathetic team that serves our customers who find themselves displaced and remodeling without advance planning. Our team members embody the compassion and understanding required to help property owners overcome significant loss of their home or income producing property.
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong math and technical skills with proficient skills in construction estimating with a focus on restoring homes damaged by fire, smoke and water. The successful candidate is a self-starter who can adapt to change without direction, keeping pace with fast-paced technical development.
The ideal candidate possesses:
The ability to demonstrate excellence during the interview process.
Proficient in construction estimating and restoration estimating.
The ability to accurately prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
Sales experience with a record of closing high cost construction bids.
Detailed oriented and understand residential building restoration.
Experience compiling detailed estimates with accuracy.
A portfolio of work, or the ability to demonstrate knowledge.
A personal vehicle to use for site visits. Fuel allowance and insurance reimbursement.
Detail oriented mentality with the ability to self motivate and manage workflow.
The ability to collaborate with others and work within a project team.
Understanding of both project and construction management.

Coast Construction Company rebuilds fire & water damaged residential and commercial buildings using insurance policy proceeds. We do not engage in Program Work and are an independent company.
Collaborate with Customers, their Insurance Adjusters and Coast Project Management to refine the detailed scope of work required to complete restoration. Act as a champion for the company and our customer.
Document loss with clear and descriptive written narrative and job photos when uploading into proprietary software. Training provided. Create estimates using carrier audit standards and manage the estimate based on feedback from team, insurance, and customer.
Partner with the Project Manager for each loss and maintain contact with the Project Manager throughout the job to collaborate on SOW, drawings, permits, supplements, and customer success management.
Maintain and support company policies and procedures. Always support organizational teamwork and act as an advocate for Coast Culture. Meet company standards for attendance and timeliness.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
