Our client began in 1984 and has since been the leader in guidance services for the Horizontal Directional Drilling market (HDD) and is looking for a career-oriented HDD Field Engineer. As an HDD Field Engineer , you will:
Participate in land surveying and steering of the initial pilot hole for pipeline construction projects.
Be required to have extreme attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.
Learn the skills and qualities required to be an effective field engineer through the client's training program.
Travel significantly throughout the United States
Need to have flexibility on scheduling.
We're looking for someone who works hard and can handle multiple tasks at once. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability because the day-to-day working environment will involve very little direct supervision. Someone that is familiar with Guidance or Bit Guidance, HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), Magnetic Guidance/Locating & Gyro Guidance/Locating.

Land Surveying & Mapping Technology Degree preferred, or on-site training available.
Ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time.
Hands on and Practical: likes working in the field as well as in the office.

Full Time
Competitive Salary - Approx. $50,000-$70,000 per year (Starting)
$75 a month cell phone reimbursement
$100 day rate
