Regional Sales Director

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts within a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Account Executives (AEs), and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to motivate and mentor a high-performing sales team. Proficiency in Salesforce is highly desirable. Ideally, the RSD will reside near a major airport within: Washington D.C., Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC, or Atlanta GA as travel up to %50 will be necessary.

Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000/year, based on experience and location + commission

Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the assigned region

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives and Account Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets

Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and evaluate sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities

Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring that it is robust, accurate, and effectively managed to drive revenue generation.

Market Analysis: Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making

Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all sales activities and practices comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field

5+ years of leadership and team management experience within sales

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making

Proficiency with CRM software, Salesforce preferred

Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
