Your Future Team
You will assist Hightower staff with technical support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to resolve unique, non-recurring problems. You will use one-on-one consultancy to end-users and firm staff. You will also support the maintenance and testing of network servers, directories, and domains.
What You'll Do

Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
Communicate effectively with technology/risk team and advisor teams to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions
Produce reporting and provide periodic updates on the status of the relationship and performance against agreed service levels to management and other stakeholder and governing bodies
Provide cyber security related project planning and execution support to project and department manager
Perform cyber security related planning and effectiveness analyses for the active IT infrastructure design
Develop an up-to-date information security management framework based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Identifying and proposing projects on an annual basis to improve the organizations security posture
Maintain existing and define new information security policies
Manage and contain information security incidents and events to protect organization assets, intellectual property, regulated data and our reputation
Develop and deliver high quality cyber related services and products related to projects
Provide a cyber security related quality assurance check on delivered services and products
Visit managed service providers (MSP) and vendors to inspect service. Communicate with MSP and vendors to request service-related questions, analyze multiple vendors to decide service best aligns with firm's needs
Ensure vendor due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished
Maintain security vendor relationships
Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Work with enterprise risk management team and different departments in the organization to reduce risk
What You'll Bring BS/BA degree and Security+ or related certification
3+ years' experience in security or user support, desktop systems support, or voice and data network support
Collect and analyze technical data to resolve design and implementation issues
Must accept a minor level of local travel
