Senior Manager, Performance Marketing

Are you passionate about travel and do you want to drive impactful strategies in the marketing space? If so, then our Marketing & Technology team is looking for a Senior Manager to help lead our growing Metasearch Campaign Management team! The candidate will be responsible for owning the P&L with our Metasearch VR partners, working closely with leadership to coordinate the priorities of data science, product, analytics, engineering, finance, and retail teams.

We need an innovative problem-solver to help elevate our channel marketing while also driving the detailed execution of marketing campaigns. The right person is a left and right brained thinker, a self-starter who can wear many hats – shifting from various marketing functions during the day, and has the ability and experience to get projects up and running quickly.

What you’ll do:

Responsible for strategy and execution of Metasearch P&L, partner relationships

Drive strategy across several functions, working with Metasearch leadership and other internal partners to set priorities across data science, product, analytics, engineering, finance, and retail

Provide support on key initiatives through effective storytelling that synthesizes complex information into concrete recommendations using strategic frameworks and compelling data insights

Collaborate with partners to set joint strategy that keep Expedia on the forefront of its marketplaces

Create insightful reporting in a timely and concise way that equips teams to make the right business decisions

Optimize partnerships across several functional areas; collaborate and identify levers to drive profitable growth

Proactively share industry news, test results, comparative and competitive reviews, as well as staying on top of the evolving travel industry

Who you are:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with analytical focus (Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.) or related fields; or equivalent related professional experience; MBA a plus

6+ years of experience in a fast-paced and highly analytical commercial environment (investment baking, eCommerce, technology); consulting a plus

A strong understanding of digital marketing and optimization, and sophisticated, hands-on knowledge of growth marketing channels

Creative problem-solving skills. Able to tackle problems and build strategic frameworks and financial models

A skilled people leader, passionate about developing talents

Proficient in MS Excel; basic to intermediate SQL skills preferred; knowledge of Python or other data processing scripts a plus

Experience presenting complex content to varied, often senior, internal and external groups

Strong influencing skills: You balance the needs of many collaborators with ease and advocate for the importance priorities

Highly collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functional areas and with all levels of management

A bias towards action: You like to get things done, and you can analyze information, provide clarity back to the business and take ownership of outcomes

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000 to $217,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
