Location: East Providence, RI
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (with bonus structure)
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive Quality Engineering support both internally and externally.
Act as the primary customer contact, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Conduct data collection and analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Review and authorize Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA).
Facilitate or actively participate in Continuous Improvement efforts, including Kaizen Events.
Write Quality Alerts and generate Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP’s).
Complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as required.
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
Actively contribute to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes.
Conduct Internal Audits and contribute to supplier selection and development.
Assist in maintaining compliance with the TS 16949 standard.
Provide necessary training and support calibration efforts.
Follow company policies, International Standards, and safety regulations.
Perform duties outside of normal work hours as required.
Education / Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical).
3 to 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Cooperative with the ability to work individually or in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Strong time management skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Initiative with a drive for Continuous Improvement.
