Project Architect, Construction Administration

We are seeking a Project Architect with 15+ years of experience to join Mithun in San Francisco. As a member of our integrated design team, you will work alongside other Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers and Urban Planners to advance design & technical excellence, environmental performance and social justice on a range of projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project typologies including creative workplace, cultural & educational environments and urban multi-family, affordable and student housing. We currently collaborate in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are flexible workdays that allow employees to work in the office or from home.

Requirements

Lead projects through their Construction Administration Phase.

Join project teams during the Construction Documents Phase, providing technical support through detailing and mentoring others.

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary design teams.

Work effectively as both a team member and independently.

Coach and mentor project team staff.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.

15+ years of post-graduate professional experience with demonstrated depth in construction administration.

Significant knowledge of architectural detailing.

Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.

Strong communication, teamwork, collaboration and conflict resolution skills.

Proficient in Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Savings Accounts are available based on eligibility requirements. Paid time off includes eight holidays and vacation accrual of two weeks per year. The expected range of compensation for this role is $100,000 - $127,000 per year. Pay ranges differ by location.
