Graduate QA Engineer

Central Employment is working in collaboration with an esteemed automotive organization, as they look to appoint a QA Junior Engineer within their QA Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that focuses on CI & Kaizen, it’s the perfect opportunity to get a head start in the automotive sector. I’m looking for candidates with exposure to a QMS & having the “quality mindset” in their approach.
Qualifications:
ONC/HNC in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline (HNC would be advantageous)
Familiarity with quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
Enthusiasm for learning and enhancing QA procedures and processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic problem-solving abilities
Preferred experience with CAD systems
Advantageous experience with FARO Arm device, PROBE & SCANNING
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer PPAP requirements during development and mass production
Support gauge design, part measurement, and supplier part approval processes
Collaborate with the Design & Development team for design and product validation testing
Investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues
Contribute to corrective actions, solutions, and process improvements
Conduct product and process audits ensuring readiness for mass production
Adhere to Quality Management System (IATF 16949) guidelines
Work closely with Production and QA personnel providing necessary support
Manage and track customer warranty concerns & claims
Participate in cost reduction initiatives
Flexibility for potential overtime and adapting to job role changes as needed
