Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled IT Administrator who will be responsible for managing both technical IT functions and administrative tasks within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT systems, network administration, and user support, coupled with excellent organizational and administrative abilities. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can efficiently handle IT issues while also managing administrative duties to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
IT Systems Management: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely resolution to minimize disruption.
Network Administration: Maintain and administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Implement and enforce network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and applications.
User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues through troubleshooting and guidance.
Conduct user training sessions to promote efficient utilization of IT resources and tools.
Respond promptly to user inquiries and service requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Data Management: Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
Manage data storage systems and optimize data storage utilization.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.
Administrative Duties: Oversee procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
Assist in budget planning and expenditure tracking for IT-related expenses.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure IT services and support as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Generate reports on IT performance, usage trends, and support metrics for management review.
Keep abreast of technological advancements and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in IT administration, network management, and user support.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking protocols.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with administrative tasks such as procurement, budgeting, and documentation.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
