Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the production process for fine jewelry, from sourcing materials, identifying suppliers, reviewing CADs to final product delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and production targets.
Oversee quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and product excellence.
Collaborate closely with design, sales, and marketing teams to translate creative concepts into viable production plans.
Optimize production workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while upholding quality standards.
Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate inventory replenishment as needed.
Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and techniques to inform production decisions and innovations.
Conduct regular inspections of production facilities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role within the fine jewelry industry.
In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, techniques, and materials.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and craftsmanship excellence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
Bachelor's degree in Gemology, Jewelry Design, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
