PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Summary Adjudication and Vetting Services is looking for a Program Support Specialist for the Front Office. This role requires a motivated, self-starter with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and information sharing. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative management and operational support; serves as the subject matter expert for all directed support programs. Responsibilities As a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties: Provides advice and recommendations to Senior Leaders and the Chief of Staff on all matters relative to the coordination, integration and synchronization, of staff actions. Assists Senior Leaders and the Chief of Staff in the execution of all matters pertaining to communication, resourcing, administration, budget, and/or management activities. Develops, coordinates, manages, leads, and delivers multiple, critical, daily, and weekly strategic activities and communications on behalf of the Senior Leaders and the Chief of Staff. Attends internal and external meetings and briefings with, or for, Seniors Leaders; takes notes, documents actions, and follows up as required; and monitors action through to completion. Develops plans and objectives for assigned projects. Initiates and conducts studies and analyses on projects, issues, and problem cases. As requested takes and/or coordinates with senior officials to assure that actions are in keeping with leadership's philosophy and priorities. Incumbent coordinates with program leaders to ensure to the maximum extent possible that the strategic objectives, goals and priorities are fully disseminated and incorporated into management plans and operations. Incumbent suggests revision or rework to products in addition to revamped administrative processes as affected by external requirements and pressures.
