The Apple Health team is looking for a Cardiologist. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinician to demonstrate their medical expertise and passion to assist in building health focused technologies. In this role, you will partner with cross-disciplinary teams on identifying key areas of focus with consideration for Apples product and technologies, and on defining and developing new product concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to innovate with a shown ability to execute, work closely with multi-functional teams, engage in open discussion, is consumer-focused, and does not shy from a challenge.

**Key Qualifications**

+ MD with deep expertise in general cardiology

+ Training and or experience in artificial intelligence/machine learning algorithms (AIML) preferred

+ Previous health product and technology experience required, preferably regulated medical products and/or digital health products.

+ Preference for experience in clinical development process for regulated health products, including clinical evidence generation, real world studies, working with observational data sets, and designing/executing pivotal clinical studies.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with a wide range of team members and experts

**Description**

As a Clinical Specialist, you play an integral role working with engineering and design teams to develop clinical products. Your key responsibilities include helping to define clinical feature definitions and specifications, in order to build innovative product features aimed at impacting heart health. For regulated features, you play a pivotal role in clinical study design and protocol development for regulatory submissions. Your ability to articulate clearly with peers and leadership makes you a crucial team player, developing collaborative relationships with key partners across the Apple health organization. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with design and engineering teams on clinical product development Craft detailed feature and set clinical specifications for heart-related products Support algorithm development including review of feasibility assessment studies Collaborate with regulatory and quality partners on product submissions to domestic/international regulators Communicate and maintain collaborative relationships - anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks. Communicate clearly and concisely with peers, business partners, and leadership via the appropriate medium: verbal/written/presentation.

Board Certified in General Cardiology Active US Medical License 1+ year(s) practicing as an attending

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
