About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Brand Officer to lead its Marketing and Communications team and play a pivotal role in the organization's ambitious strategic plan to combat generational poverty. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing brand and marketing strategies that align with the company's mission, both internally and externally. This includes overseeing public relations, communications, digital marketing, advertising, print, and special events. The role involves being a brand champion, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and representing the company within the larger United Way network. The Chief Brand Officer will also lead a diverse team, set and manage budgets, and ensure the company's brand is effectively positioned as a community leader.Candidates for this executive position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least seven to ten years of experience leading marketing and communications teams, with a strong track record in strategy development and goal achievement. Essential skills include strong writing and editing, proficiency in multi-channel marketing, and expertise in digital and social media marketing. The individual must be a collaborative leader, capable of managing multiple projects and diverse teams, and be adept at utilizing marketing tools and technologies. While experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred, it is not mandatory. The Chief Brand Officer will be expected to maintain the highest level of integrity, display innovative thinking, and work effectively within a team to achieve the company's goals.
