**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our Customer Support Specialists balance technology, problem solving and empathy to provide great experiences to our patients. In this role you will ensure that all patients get easy access to our orthodontic care by answering questions and providing quick follow up. You will also coordinate between our orthodontists and our patients primary dentist to ensure that patients can safely receive treatment.

They are detail-oriented and incredibly organized, which allows for seamless follow-up and follow-through both internally and externally. They understand metrics, know how to track and measure them, and are excited to join a growing start-up.
**HOW YOULL HAVE IMPACT**
* Handle general inquiries via email, in-app chat, and phone
* Assist with patient communications with our clinical teams for scheduling, treatment, and other requests
* Coordinate communications between prospective patients and general dentists for treatment clearance
* Collaborate with our clinical and manufacturing teams to resolve any patient issue
* Ad hoc projects
**WHAT YOULL BRING**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2+ years in a customer service environment
* Customer-first focus with an approachable, helpful personality
* Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people
* Collaborative, empathetic, patient, and a positive attitude
* Attention to detail and ability to document and track daily activities
* Experience using Zendesk or other service ticketing systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
* Ability to meet and handle at least 25+ inbound calls and resolve 50+ emails on a daily basis
* Schedule, which includes ability to work some holidays:
+ Sunday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm CT
+ Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-4:30pm CT
+ $16-$18 an hour
**ADDITIONAL REMOTE REQUIREMENTS:**
* HIPAA compliant environment for emails and phone calls
* A smartphone that can be used to handle inbound and outbound calls through a softphone app
* Dedicated and stable internet connection
+ At least 10 Mbps download speed
+ At least 1 Mbps upload speed
* This role is currently remote. The expectation is that youll be able to work from our Greater Chicago office once we return to them in 2021.
