Product Application Support Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to our clients throughout the product application process. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to identify and understand customer requirements, design appropriate solutions, and ensure successful implementation. You will be Hybrid working from Simsbury, CT, and travel 10% of the time, domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Field Application Engineer & Technical Support escalation point
Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and requirements for product applications
Provide technical support and guidance to customers during the pre-sales and post-sales process
Design and develop customized solutions based on customer specifications and industry standards
Flow Analysis expertise and knowledge of applicable software and tools is Required
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the functionality and benefits of our product
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of our products at customer sites
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and drive continuous improvement
Support Experimentation at all phases of development
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements related to our products and applications
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders
Interface between contractor and engineering groups during new product design and test phase
Become an expert in technical market intelligence/application trends to identify current and future product road gaps & opportunities
Relationships
Position reports directly to the Director, Growth Acceleration
Position is key member of the Product team
Position interacts with customers, contractors, manufacturing, NPI, sales, and engineering teams
