MUST DO'S
Provide highly available, secure, scalable, and protected IT systems infrastructure, client computing, and networking platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provision, install, configure, and administer systems hardware/software and related infrastructure.
Ensure protection and stability of infrastructure systems against exploits and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot and remediate server and network issues.
Deploy and manage client-side computers and peripherals.
Provide support and resolution to client issues through the IT ticketing system.
Monitor system availability and respond to system outages.
Oversee all campus location premise wiring, security cameras, and wireless access point installations.
Monitor, verify, and restore client and server data.
Manage voice communications systems.
Produce complete documentation of all systems infrastructure configurations and changes.
Performs other technical duties and responsibilities as assigned by the IT Director.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or 3 years of systems administration experience
Thorough understanding of a wide array of technologies including but not limited to virtualization, Windows desktop and server, MacOS, Azure/AWS or similar cloud hosting providers, Microsoft 365, NAS, SAN, server and client backup applications, IP security cameras, VOIP telephony, network switching and routing, and premise cabling
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly technical environment
Enjoys working in a highly collaborative team environment
Effectively communicate to a diverse audience
A passion for technology and a drive to learn
WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
On-call as needed
