**ROLE OVERVIEW**
At Honeywell, General Managers are value creation drivers who lead the organization and prepare it for sustained future growth. GM Connected Aero is responsible for all aspects of running the business, including financial success for the line of business, with ownership of the P&L (reported and assumed), top and bottom lines, balance sheet and cash flow.
The GM will report to Philippe Chevrier, President, Services & Connectivity, with matrix reporting into Que Dallara, President & CEO, HCE.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Innovate/incubate new product ideas: Drive innovation and execution of key New Product Initiatives. Build a culture where innovation and intelligent risk taking is encouraged.
* Drive commercialization of new and existing SaaS offerings, including pricing, marketing, pitching concepts effectively to external stakeholders such as users, customers, partners, government officials and agencies, journalists, experts and opinion leaders, and industry organizations.
* Be entrepreneurial: Assume profit and loss responsibility for Connected Aero Software business and ensure financial performance; define strategy to accelerate the digital transformation of Aerospace industry and grow our Connected Aerospace software offerings.
* Manage talent: Build exceptional teams, attract key talent, grow and motivate a world class team of approximately 200 globally dispersed employees.
**THE IDEAL PERSON**
HCE is looking for a leader who will provide the necessary operating system for the business to scale from portfolio, products, sales, and delivery, and inspire teams to grow. Ideally, this leader can also drive commercial objectives such as clients, partners, and new business opportunities. This leader is all-in, able to operate from boiler room to board room seamlessly.
**You must have:**
* 10+ years of software industry experience, including experience in aerospace and industrial software platforms, enterprise software/SaaS, and IOT
* Functional experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Sales, Marketing/Offering Management, Engineering
* Track record of achievement in early stage software companies and demonstrated ability to scale, indicating entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment incubation of offerings
* Customer facing experience with large customers (OEMs, Business Aviation, Department of Defense, Airlines, or other large industrial customers and go-to-market partners (channel, JV, key suppliers, VAS)
* Experience in managerial roles building and/or leading geographically distributed teams
* Advanced industry experience automotive, industrial (not unrelated businesses)

* Demonstrated success in growing businesses organically and inorganically through M&A
* Experience in senior leadership roles with P&L management responsibility
* MBA in Business/Finance from a prominent college
