Duties include crisis intervention within the residence halls, discipline, and participation in the Senior Staff Duty Group (Residence Life professional and graduate student staff). This is a 12-month, full-time, professional, live-in position.1.Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or a related field required.2.Previous experience working in Residence Life or a related field, with an understanding of student development theory and best practices in residential education.3.Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with diverse populations.4.Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively, promoting professional growth and development.5.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and willingness to participate in on-call duty rotations.6.Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable living and learning environment that supports the success and well-being of all residents.7.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
