This position reports directly to the University Director of Housing and Residence Life and collaborates closely with graduate hall directors and resident assistants to foster a safe, inclusive, and vibrant living environment conducive to academic success and personal growth. The incumbent is also primarily responsible for coordinating undergraduate/graduate student staff recruitment, selection, training, and ongoing staff development/education. The Resident Director of Housing and Residence Life is responsible for the supervision of undergraduate and graduate staff, community development, responding to resident concerns, student counseling, administrative and facility management, and participation in department initiatives and campus life. The incumbent is responsible for managing and operating a group of residence halls.
